Insight's Client Solutions Group (CSG) provides the primary client engagement interface for Insight, offering expert input to investment strategy, sophisticated solution design, ongoing monitoring, reporting and all other client service activities. CSG's activities are highly rated externally by clients and their advisers and Insight views CSG as a key competitive differentiator. CSG includes the following sub-teams and roles:
Relationship Management Team: Our team of experienced client directors is responsible for developing relationships with institutional clients investing in any of the various strategies offered by Insight. Solution Design Team: Our team of solution designers provides expert input to clients' investment strategy design and implementation. Solution designers typically tailor strategies to address the specific risk and return objectives of each client. Client Service Team: The client service specialists work alongside our client directors and solution designers to support the delivery of high-quality solutions and services directly to clients. Investment specialists: Our investment specialists support the portfolio managers for each product area, focussing on communicating key aspects of the strategy to clients including performance, positioning and outlook. Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced LDI/pension strategy specialist wanting to join the Solution Design team to help evolve investment strategies for both current and prospective clients as well as developing new products, services and investment ideas to meet future needs.
The team has responsibility for c.150 solution clients and has a steady stream of new business opportunities.The candidate should have a good understanding of LDI to be able to partner with clients and consultants.
Once onboard, the candidate should quickly become confident in being able to lead discussions and meetings with current and potential new clients as well as representing Insight's solutions capabilities in consultant research meetings.
The candidate will work closely with LDI portfolio managers, quantitative analysts, client directors, and other solution designers.
Role Responsibilities:
Understand Insight products and strategies and how these can be tailored to clients Lead discussions with clients and consultants to develop investment solutions Attend client meetings with client directors to represent the solutions investment team Represent Insight products and strategies in consultant research meetings Support the solution design component of new business proposals and pitches Assist client directors on a daily basis to respond to ad hoc client queries Liaising with quantitative analysts in relation to modelling of liabilities and design of liability hedging and asset protection strategies Liaise with fund managers to develop appropriate portfolio management strategies and confirming finer details of client solutions / transitions Work with other members of the team on strategic pieces of work ranging from business management to new strategy design and launch Experience required:
