Location: Woolloongabba, Queensland Type: Contract Job #17078 Overview Our Brisbane-based commercial client is seeking to engage a Solution Architect for a technical digital refresh project focused on cleaning up systems and data.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing solutions that facilitate the decommissioning and archiving of various systems, ensuring seamless data migration and integrity throughout the process.
This role requires strong collaboration with project managers and stakeholders to navigate complexities and achieve successful outcomes.
This is an exciting 6-month initial contract with a high likelihood of extensions, offering a hybrid work arrangement of 3 days in-office and 2 days from home.
Responsibilities Design scalable and efficient architecture solutions for system decommissioning and data archiving.
Collaborate with project managers to define project requirements and ensure alignment with overall objectives.
Lead the assessment of existing systems and applications to identify opportunities for consolidation and improvement.
Develop data migration strategies and oversee their execution to ensure data integrity and compliance.
Create documentation for architecture solutions, including design specifications, deployment plans, and process flows.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to address technical challenges and ensure smooth implementation.
Monitor and evaluate the performance of implemented solutions, making adjustments as necessary.
Act as a liaison between technical teams and stakeholders, translating complex concepts into clear and actionable plans.
Skills Proven experience as a Solution Architect in data migration projects.
Strong knowledge of data migration and archiving strategies.
Familiarity with various system architectures and integration methods.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate organizational challenges.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to working with diverse teams.
Experience with project management methodologies and agile practices.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
Familiarity with compliance and regulatory requirements related to data handling and archiving.
