An exciting opportunity for a Solution Architect to define end to end technology solutions.A great role for an Architect to provide design leadership in End-User Computing.Flexible working arrangements are available.About the role The Solution Architect is responsible for defining end to end technology solutions that are consistent with domain and group architecture.
Key Responsibilities Define current state, transition states and target state solution architectures for projects and current business problems consistent with domain and group architectureProvide design leadership through:Clear and demonstrable understanding of business strategy, IT strategy, domain and group architectureDesigning for reuse and deployment across the groupReusing existing application components and infrastructureEnsuring the resulting design is implementable and within the risk parameters of the business ownerEnsuring appropriate performance and scalabilityEnsuring security complianceAwareness of industry compliance initiatives and their impactsContribute to system life-cycle management roadmaps and investment plans for key applicationsIdentify targets for rationalisation and decommissioningEngage regularly with technology vendors and utilise available research services to remain abreast of market activities and to educate business representatives around technology directionsConduct product evaluationsPromote continuous improvement through involvement in review processesSkills & Experience Bachelor Degree in Information Technology/related discipline, or equivalent experience is essential for this roleProven IT Architecture or design experience is essential for this roleArchitectural certification (eg.
