The Role

We have an immediate full-time opportunity for a junior lawyer.The role involves a broad range of work in matters involving deceased estates, commercial advice, commercial transactions and litigation.

You will be responsible for handling various legal tasks, including legal drafting, providing legal advice, conducting research and representing clients in court. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide effective legal solutions.

The role requires maintaining accurate client and case files, managing deadlines and working collaboratively.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Drafting, preparing and reviewing legal agreements and trust documents.

Appearing in court, conducting conferences, negotiations and mediations.

Attending on clients in consultations and providing legal advice to clients on various legal matters.

Managing and maintaining client files, interacting with clients and other lawyers.

About you

To be successful in the role, you will need:

Strong understanding of court processes and various legal areas.

Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients from all backgrounds.

Good attention to detail, enthusiastic learner and problem-solving ability.

Strong time management, organisational skills and able to work unsupervised.

Ability to work efficiently under pressure to manage workload.

Motivated to seek new opportunity and an effective team collaborator.
