We're seeking a dynamic and proactive Legal & Compliance Manager, a key player in promoting a culture of compliance within the UBT Family Department.
This position offers the opportunity to be a crucial part of ensuring that our AU Superstores meet their legal and regulatory obligations, contributing to Campus&Co's overall operational effectiveness and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Establish and support regular legal and compliance reporting within superstores.
Provide general assistance with regulatory and governance compliance, including reporting.
Implement a reporting system to manage compliance on a national level.
Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports for senior management and regulatory bodies.
Support the development of legal and compliance reporting processes.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
Analyse data and trends to identify areas for improvement in compliance reporting.
Stay informed about changes in regulatory requirements and adjust reporting processes accordingly.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding compliance reporting matters.
Contribute to the overall compliance and governance strategy of the organisation.
Skills & Experience:
Strong knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to Council and Authority approvals, WHS, and Food Safety.
A business acumen partnered with a dedication to legality.
Excellent communication and training skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with different departments and external authorities.
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Intermediate skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
