You will be part of a great team and will be responsible for overseeing a range of interesting defendant insurance files with reputable clients. In this role, you will receive ongoing mentoring and development from a Senior Principal, as well as support from the wider team.Key ResponsibilitiesThe core responsibilities of this role include:Managing a diverse range of defendant insurance matters, including motor, product and public liability claims, subrogated recovery actions, professional indemnity and CTP injury claims.Conducting research and drafting pleadings, submissions, motions and briefs.Negotiating settlements, attending conferences, mediations, court and managing court processes.Advising and communicating directly with clients.Providing guidance and mentorship to junior lawyers and support staff.RequirementsMinimum 3 years post-qualification experience, gained predominantly in the area of Insurance LitigationSpecialisation in public liability, CTP, and historical abuse cases preferredExcellent communication and negotiation skills with clients and other practitioners.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Your new teamOur team is made up of highly skilled and dedicated legal professionals who are committed to delivering exceptional results for our clients.
