The Solicitor in the Statewide Child Protection Litigation Office (Statewide CPLO) is responsible for providing legal advice and support to child protection practitioners and appearing in child protection litigation matters in the Children's Court of Victoria and associated jurisdictions. You will work predominantly with one of Statewide CPLO's legal teams and will travel to various Children's Court locations and child protection offices. ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE: Provide well-reasoned legal advice, briefings, and correspondence. Collaborate with departmental colleagues to deliver client-focused legal services. Appear or instruct in litigation involving the department in a wide range of courts and tribunals.
