The Commonwealth Ombudsman Legal Team provides in-house legal services to the Office. The team is the primary point of contact for staff who need legal assistance in undertaking their work, additionally, the team manages Freedom of Information requests, oversees the Office's privacy obligations, and manages litigation on behalf of the Office.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience working within a legal team of a government agency, across an interesting and diverse range of legal matters.
