Job Summary
There is an opportunity for a Solicitor to join our Cairns or Brisbane based internal legal team.
Key Responsibilities include:

Drafting, reviewing and assisting with contracts of sale for both businesses and land
Attending to large property transactions, including due diligence and option agreements
Preparing and reviewing leases, licence agreements, franchising agreements
Reviewing and advising on fuel supply agreements
Satisfying disclosure obligations with respect to franchising and retail leases
Assisting with procedural processes for rental determinations
Liaising with our existing external legal panel
Monitoring numerous critical dates, including settlements, renewal dates, option dates, etc

Experience & Key Skills
Our ideal candidate/s will have:

A minimum of two years experience across a range of property transactions (ideally some experiencing with franchising)
Strong written and oral communication skills
Able to prioritise and manage conflicting deadlines
Good drafting skills
Detail oriented
Capable of working independently and as part of a team
