Legal Accounts Person (Part-Time) Our client, a highly respected law firm specialising in Wills and Estates, is seeking an experienced Legal Accounts Person to join their growing team.
About the Role:
You will be supervised, supported, and mentored by the Operations Manager, with the opportunity to contribute to a range of financial and accounting tasks. Key responsibilities include:
• Managing and maintaining trust accounts to ensure compliance with relevant regulations
• Preparing and processing client invoices and payments
• Performing regular reconciliations of accounts
• Preparing and reporting on the firm's budget and financial health
• Assisting with general accounting tasks and duties as needed
• Collaborating closely with the external accounting team
• Processing fortnightly payroll
• Developing and maintaining the firm's asset register
Essential Requirements:
• Proven experience in trust accounting within a legal environment minimum 2 years. Preferred Experience:
Experience with Actionstep, TriConvey, and Xero is advantageous but not essential. Training and support will be provided to the right candidate.
Key Details:
• Part-Time Role: Approximately 20-25 hours per week
• Working Hours: 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday to Friday (or similar schedule)

You are an experienced accounts professional with a background in a legal environment. You pride yourself on accuracy, efficiency, and providing high-level client service.
