About the roleSupervision and management of laboratory staff including training of technicians;Coordination of day-to-day operational requirements of the testing laboratory;Liaison with internal staff and clients on testing schedules, methods, procedures and results;Overseeing the sampling, testing and reporting in accordance with the specifications, using appropriate test methods;Preparation and review of all test reports and issue to clients;Management of the appropriate maintenance and calibration of all laboratory equipment.Skills and experience2+ years' proven experience in construction materials testing;A Certificate IV in Laboratory Testing Techniques;Sound knowledge of laboratory practices and operations;NATA Signatory with a high level of competence and understanding of AS.
standards and knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 requirements;Possession of White Card, S11, Coal Board, while not mandatory, are desirable;Ability to manage multiple tasks or deadlines;Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team to achieve results, displaying a high level of self-motivation;Knowledge of Geotester or equivalent program. #J-18808-Ljbffr
