Who Are We?: Convergence Medical (www.convergenceortho.com) is a Brisbane-based medical robotics start-up that is building the world's first Arthroscopic surgical robot. We are seeking an experienced Software and Systems Developer to join our dynamic team and play a crucial role in shaping our software systems, cybersecurity network, and front-end systems.
Role Overview: As a Software Systems Developer at Convergence Medical, you will be responsible for designing and building our SaaS stack, ensuring it aligns with our in-house procedures. You will also collaborate with our existing software team to address critical areas such as cybersecurity and front-end development. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, innovative environment and is eager to contribute to groundbreaking medical technology.
Key Responsibilities: Design and Architecture: Develop a robust SaaS stack architecture based on our in-house procedures and operational requirements. Development: Support the design and development of our software for our surgical robots. Cloud Architecture: Software integration and secure data management including SaaS packages, cloud servers, and internally developed software. Implementation: Build and implement the SaaS stack using existing software solutions. Collaboration: Work closely with the software team to provide expertise in cybersecurity and front-end development, contributing to the overall success of our projects. Key Skills and Qualifications: Strong communication and exceptional interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members across various disciplines. SaaS implementation expertise (Jira, Hubspot, Odoo, G-Suite, Xero, Trello), system integration, proven experience in designing and implementing, and continuous improvements to SaaS solutions. Python Development: Proficiency in Python, with the ability to develop and maintain high-quality code which interfaces with front-end systems. Cloud-Based Infrastructure experience. Front-end development with experience with React Native development, including the ability to create intuitive and responsive user interfaces. Cybersecurity Knowledge: Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
