About the role
With a diverse collective of peers and skillsets, the Perth office has a great mix of z/OS experts, UI/UX engineers, QA analysts, as well as automation and translation specialists.
We are looking to bring on board additional mainframe development experts to assist with product development.
21CS is seeking a skilled z/OS software developer who can work as part of a team using modern development methods that stress collaboration, transparency, focus on customer value, and constant improvement.
This role collaborates in design and code functionality for enterprise-level products that meet business and customer requirements.
The Software Developer will perform code modification, analysis, testing, and debugging tasks, as well as provide input related to product futures.
Strong z/OS skills and a passion for learning are necessary to accomplish company and personal goals.
Required Skills
Senior experience in Mainframe (z/OS) development.
A comprehensive understanding of ISPF, JCL, and IBM utilities.
Either Assembler or C++ on z/OS.
Self-organized with strong analysis and troubleshooting skills, and ability to take the lead in problem-solving and delivery of development items.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Desired Skills
Systems Programming experience.
Experience in Storage management and DFSMS access methods.
Assembler, C/C++, REXX, ISPF dialog development.
Disaster Recovery, GDPS.
Web/UI integration experience with z/OS products.
