You will work on design patterns and develop highly scalable enterprise-level web applications and RESTful APIs using Microservices.Working as part of a small team of developers on this particular project, you will be using Java and Javascript for development. You will be tasked with designing and developing high-quality and scalable integration solutions whilst collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve any issues that may occur.Experience RequiredYou will have at least three years of experience in a similar software engineering role and relevant tertiary qualifications, ideally a B.CompSci or B.Eng (Software). You must have commercial experience with Java or C# for back end development and Javascript front end frameworks.You will ideally have experience with the Atlassian suite, including Jira and Confluence and will be familiar with Java Spring framework.You will be within driving distance of Newcastle and can visit the office a few days per week.About The CompanyQvalent specialises in creating software products for the financial and banking sector.
