This role will be focused on the development of Accruent's RedEye product which handles Engineering Data Management with a cloud-based solution.Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Software Engineer II to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java, TypeScript/JavaScript, and the Spring Framework, with additional experience or familiarity with VueJS and Elasticsearch considered a plus.
This role requires a proactive individual who can contribute to the design and implementation of high-quality software solutions and collaborate effectively with team members.Key Responsibilities:Contribute to the design, development, and deployment of scalable software solutions using Java, TypeScript/JavaScript, and the Spring Framework.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to deliver high-quality software on schedule.Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while adhering to best practices in software development.Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, recommending improvements to processes and tools.Assist in troubleshooting and resolving software defects and performance issues.Create and maintain technical documentation for reference and reporting.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.3+ years of professional software development experience.Proficiency in Java and the Spring Framework.Experience with TypeScript/JavaScript and modern front-end frameworks (e.g., VueJS).Ability to design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices.Understanding of software engineering best practices, including design patterns, testing, and CI/CD.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with VueJS and state management libraries such as Vuex.Familiarity with Elasticsearch and building search-driven applications.Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).Knowledge of agile development methodologies.Experience with AI developer tools such as CoPilot or similar.#J-18808-Ljbffr
