Desktop Support Officer - Toowoomba

As Desktop Support Officer you will be the first point of contact, provide technical support and advice, and troubleshoot and resolve typical IT problems.
This role will be a challenge and expose you to a busy helpdesk/desktop support environment in a dynamic global company.This is a full-time position with a competitive salary which is based at our corporate head office in the Toowoomba area.Main ResponsibilitiesAnalyse, diagnose and resolve problemsProvide technical support to ensure the smooth running of the system and network servicesLog, maintain and respond to support requests in the IT Helpdesk Service DeskIdentify requests that require additional expertise and escalate for resolutionUndertaken IT onboarding and offboardingAssist with computer software installations, and supply of IT peripheralsAbout YouTo be successful in this role:Demonstrate prior experience of providing helpdesk/desktop support with a strong focus on investigating, analysing and providing solutions for your clientPossess excellent time management to prioritise and log support requests to meet deadlines, and strong attention to detailPossess excellent written and verbal communication skills to ensure concise messages are givenPossess knowledge of network and IT infrastructureExperience in local and wide area networkingExperience with personal computers, mobile and data services, computer networks and communication technologyDemonstrate the ability to work autonomously and as part of a teamQualifications & ExperienceIdeally you will have:Qualification in information technology or similar, or equivalent experienceEmployee BenefitsWe pride ourselves on our healthy culture of diversity, inclusiveness, community support and strong family values.
