As a key member of our engineering team, you will drive innovation in real-time localization and mapping for our state-of-the-art Hovermap device. This role offers a unique blend of theoretical challenge and practical application, providing an exceptional opportunity for a talented engineer eager to push the boundaries of what's possible in robotic mapping and analytics.
Here's what we need Design and implement enhancements to our point cloud mapping pipeline.Innovate and refine state estimation, sensor fusion techniques, and mathematical optimization processes to enhance system accuracy and robustness.Develop and execute Software-in-the-Loop (SiL) tests and robust test environments to validate system performance under various scenarios.Write high-performance, scalable, and maintainable code, ensuring high standards of quality and comprehensive documentation.Collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary team to drive project milestones and deliver cutting-edge solutions.Maintain and improve project documentation, ensuring clarity and accessibility for both internal stakeholders and the broader engineering community.How you'll succeed Essential experienceBachelor's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, or a related field, complemented by at least 5 years of relevant industry experience.Proficiency in C++ and Python with a track record of deploying complex systems in real-world environments.Exceptional communication skills coupled with high self-motivation and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, collaborative environment.Desirable experienceSimultaneous localization and Mapping.State estimation and sensor fusion.Mathematical optimization.Handling and processing of LiDAR sensor data and point clouds.Advanced degree (Masters or PhD) in Robotics, Computer Science, or related field.Hands-on experience with Linux development environments.Practical knowledge of cameras, visual odometry, IMU, and GPS data integration.Familiarity with contemporary software development methodologies, including agile practices.The added perks Work alongside a friendly and passionate team on cutting-edge technology!Take up our genuine learning and development opportunities.Access to LinkedIn Learning platform.Employee Assistance Program.Qoctor, online telehealth.Settle into our great work environment and facilities.Work in comfort with a casual dress code.Flexible working.1 full day of leave each year for work anniversaries!Who are we?
