About the Role:
As a .NET Software Developer reporting to the Senior Developer, you'll play a key role in our IT department at Mackay Sugar. Your focus will be on designing, developing, and maintaining software applications and systems. You'll ensure our software development efforts contribute to the long-term success and functionality of Mackay Sugar's technology. Reporting to the Senior Developer, key accountabilities will include:
Design & Development: Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to design, develop, and test software applications using C# and other tools.
Maintenance & Optimization: Ensure software applications are secure, up-to-date, and compliant while enhancing performance and efficiency.
Troubleshooting & Support: Address technical issues, provide user support, and resolve problems promptly.
Documentation & Collaboration: Create and maintain technical documentation and work with IT team members and business users to improve applications and systems.
Continuous Learning: Stay updated with technology trends and develop your skills.
Skills & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in C# development with Microsoft .NET.
Proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server is required.
Experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps is desirable.
Knowledge of various platforms (desktop, mobile, web) is a plus.
Full stack development experience (front-end and back-end) is advantageous.
