Your experience also includes:Enthusiasm to learn and grow with our team,Strong relationship building and stakeholder engagement skills,Experience and/or exposure in water management, the energy market and evolutionary design would also be beneficial but not essential.Your technical experience also includes:.NET (client and server), preferably WPF, SQL ServerSoftware design specifically developing automate repetitive tasks including testing and deployment,Experience in a complex business domain.About the role:To put it simply, as a Software Developer at Hydro Tasmania, you will play a key role within a cross-functional scrum team working to deliver innovative market solutions to enable the business to continue powering Tasmania and Australia with renewable energy.
Within this role, you will provide guidance and direction in large scale projects as well as leading your own projects including developing architecture as well as own and establish outcomes about 24/7 trading applications that support Hydro Tasmania's position in the National Electricity Market.As a Software Developer at Hydro Tasmania, you will:Provide functional and technical expertise to develop technical design specifications for software and database solutionsDesign, develop, test, and release application software and databases to agreed standardsWork in an agile team delivering value in close relationship with colleagues with the use of DevOps practisesBuild strong customer relationships and deliver customer-centric solutionsTake on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasmIn addition to a competitive remuneration package, this role offers the unique advantage of being directly involved in contributing to key customer-focussed system enhancements for Hydro Tasmania.
