About this opportunity:
The Software Developer is responsible for the development, design, implementation, and support of new and modified cloud-based business software.
Key responsibilities of this role: Participating at all stages of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code while adhering to coding standards and best practicesIntegrating front-end interfaces with back-end and third party services and APIs using REST, gRPC, SOAP etc.Designing and implementing database schemas, queries, and optimizations for a variety of RDBMS'sIntegration with Microsoft services including but not limited to SharePoint and Power automate, Power BI and m/o365.Creating technical documentation for usage and training purpose.Ensure a high level of security awareness throughout the software development lifecycle, particularly in the technical design of web-based applications and the infrastructure they reside on.Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and pain points, and propose innovative solutions to streamline operations and drive business growth.To succeed in this role you will have: Demonstrated experience in a similar role in software development (essential - minimum 5 years desirable)Relevant tertiary qualification in computer science/programing or software development (desirable)Experience using a variety of front end and backend technologies including modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Vue, Sveltel), backend languages (e.g. Node JS, Lucee) and Serverless using services like AWS lambda, Azure logic and BaaS providers.Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.Outstanding problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Willingness to learn new technologies and programming languages and keep up with the latest trends.Working with Children Blue CardWhy work with us: Flexible work options – flex day modelMonthly rostered day off – an extra 12 days off per year!Annual FREE Flu VaccinationAcademic Study Day ProgramSonder complete care platform – 24/7 supportOngoing learning and development including career growth opportunitiesCorporate Health Care PartnersTemporary Office Swap – locations across QLDRecognition – Employee of the Month, 5 & 10 year Service AwardsSanctuary Model of Care framework training
