The Role As a Functional Tester, you will be responsible for newly developed functionalities, configurations set up for customers, and various patches and new releases.
Your main tasks will include:
Designing, developing, and executing test scenarios and cases on coded solutions. Understanding business and functional requirements and related acceptance criteria. Creating test scenarios and test cases. Executing test runs and test cycles for core, client, integration/API, and interface solutions. Reporting on test results and taking appropriate actions, proactively linking incidents/defects to underlying problems to prevent future issues and make improvement proposals. You will support the delivery flow and analysis process, aiming to enable effective testing and acceptance processes by:
Participating in handovers during the end-to-end delivery flow. Advising on the testability of requirements, specifications, use cases, and acceptance criteria. You will collaborate with quality assurance, applying and contributing to QA standards and procedures, and contribute to automated test cases and scripts.
You'll be part of a multi-disciplinary team that works agile to deliver solutions to customers. Close collaboration with business consultants and developers will be essential.

Your focus will be on the functional testing of Miles, our in-house developed ERP software for automotive finance, leasing, fleet , and mobility management. Miles is an end-to-end solution encompassing front-, mid-, and back-office functions, highly customizable to the customer's needs through configuration.
Depending on your experience and interest, your responsibilities can expand to include integration testing, interface testing, and automation testing. You may also assist customers with user acceptance testing, load and performance testing, and other aspects.
This position, based in Sydney , offers a hybrid work model: three days in-office and two days remote.
