(pro rata)+ Superannuation and Salary Sacrifice BenefitsPermanent part-time working 18.75 hours per weekAbout the Role As a Social Worker with the Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN), you will play a vital role in enhancing the psychosocial well-being of patients and their families across a variety of settings, including the Royal Adelaide Hospital, The Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Hampstead Rehabilitation Centre, and Repat Health Precinct. Working within a multi-disciplinary team, you will provide expert consultation and counselling to support patients in adjusting to their circumstances. Your role will also involve offering clinical supervision and professional support to junior social workers and students, ensuring a high standard of practice within the team.
In addition to direct patient care, you will actively contribute to quality improvement initiatives and strategic planning, helping to shape best-practice service delivery. Your work will have a direct impact on improving clinical outcomes for patients across CALHN's diverse services, from community and ambulatory programs to specialised care. About You We are seeking a qualified and experienced Social Worker to join our team. To succeed in this role, you will possess the following:
Qualifications: A relevant degree or equivalent qualification, with eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.Skills & Abilities: Proven ability in social work, individual therapy, and group work, with strong professional judgement and the ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.Experience: Broad experience in acute hospital, rehabilitation, or ambulatory services, including the ability to develop cooperative working relationships across diverse professional teams.Knowledge: Strong evidence-based clinical knowledge in social work methodologies and an understanding of CALHN's health system environment, ensuring effective, safe practice.About CALHN The Central Adelaide Local Health Network includes South Australia's major quaternary facility, the Royal Adelaide Hospital, The Queen Elizabeth Hospital, the Hampstead Rehabilitation Centre, and the Repat Health Precinct.
