Grade 2 Social Worker Position, 3 days a week, in inpatient rehabilitation settingPart-time opportunity, 22.5 hours per weekSupportive team environmentClinical supervision providedAn exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and adaptable Social Worker to join our team, based at The North Eastern Rehabilitation Centre in a part-time capacity. This role involves closely collaborating with our other rehabilitation sites and with our broader social work team.The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills and enjoy working within a busy team environment.As a Social Worker your responsibilities will include:Provide comprehensive psychosocial assessment, timely intervention and contribute towards the holistic discharge planning of patients within a rehabilitation setting.Display exceptional time management and a high degree of flexibility.Have well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.Enjoy working within a multidisciplinary team in the rehabilitation setting.Participate in program development and quality improvement initiatives.Selection Criteria:Appropriate tertiary qualifications in Social Work.Eligibility for membership to the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).Experience working in a rehabilitation or hospital setting desirable.Why Healthscope?When you join Healthscope, you become part of our Community of Care.
