Job Overview An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Payroll Officer to join our high-performing team. This role will provide exceptional care and service to all employees and stakeholders throughout the end-to-end payroll process.

Position Description
Your day-to-day tasks will include, but aren't limited to the following:
Oversee the payroll process, ensuring all staff are paid accurately and on time, with a strong understanding of applicable industrial instruments and awards for seamless fortnightly payments.Utilising SAP SuccessFactors to manage payroll data, maintain accurate employee records and ensure timely payroll processing, end to end.Contribute to month-end closing procedures and generate necessary reports.Conduct account and bank reconciliations, and support accounts payable/receivable functions.Maintain precise financial records and ensure data accuracy.Ensure adherence to accounting standards and tax regulations.Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts.Provide support to the finance team with ad-hoc tasks as needed.Responding in a timely manner to all payroll related queriesMaintaining and continuously improving payroll processes and documented proceduresThe ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate: Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Payroll Officer or in a similar role.Proficiency in SAP SuccessFactors for Payroll (EC & ECP) is essential.Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of Australian payroll legislation and tax laws, including PAYG, Payroll Tax, and FBT.
