Social Worker - Advanced (Systemic Practices)Provide advanced specialised clinical and consultancy services for systemic practices within Young Adult Specialist Services (YASS) and the broader Child and Youth Mental Health Service (CYMHS). The position delivers advanced level systemic interventions including assessment, treatment planning and intervention provision within the CYMHS service line. The position will lead the development and implementation of the strategic approach within Gold Coast CYMHS for systemic practices.An opportunity has become available for a Social Worker - Advanced (Systemic Practices) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12,000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.You willProvide advanced level independent, specialised clinical services in line with systemic practices of a highly-complex and varied nature to young people engaged with the Child and Youth Mental Health Service.Lead the development and implementation of service models for systemic practices by developing educational support materials, resources and communicating new developments and outcomes to the broader CYMHS clinical network.Lead and contribute in annual strategic planning activities to ensure systemic practices are delivered to a high standard and in line with evidence-based practices.Apply advanced interpersonal skills including negotiation, advocacy and conflict management to develop effective relationships with stakeholders, to meet service goals and enhance client outcomes.About youTo be successful in this position you will require:A tertiary degree in Social Work.Eligible for membership to the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).Blue card / Working with children check (GCH will cover cost).Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B.Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required.Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed.Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost).Base salary ranging from $144,991 - $151,289 per annum.About UsThe Young Adult and Specialist Services (YASS) team sits in the Child and Youth Mental Health Services service line as part of the division of Mental Health and Specialty Services, within the directorate of Emergency and Specialist Services.
