As a Social Value and Planning Consultant your focus will be to support the delivery of current and future pipeline across the NSW/ACT Social Value & Planning, Environment and Sustainability teams. You will have proven experience as a social impact and/or planning consultant with expertise in social impact assessment, socio-economic impact assessment, urban planning or environmental assessment, stakeholder engagement and project management/coordination.
The Opportunity Preparing socio-economic assessments and related urban planning policy advice;Undertaking social and strategic planning policy reviews, local site/context analysis and baseline social and economic data analysis;Project management across complex projects;Stakeholder engagement including developing stakeholder and community consultation plans, developing communication plans, and developing public or stakeholder facing reports on project progress, engagement and consultation activities;Compiling compelling proposals that respond to client needs and contextual drivers;Is this role right for you? Recognised relevant tertiary qualifications in social sciences, urban planning, community development, environmental science or similar area;Relevant industry experience (minimum 3 – 5 years);Strong written and verbal communication including report writing and presentation skills supporting in delivery of workshops and other consultation activities;Ability to communicate with people at all levels in both technical and non-technical environments;What we offer you At Arup, we care about each member's success, so we can grow together.
