You will have proven consulting experience in urban planning or community development with a focus on social impact assessment, strategic planning, stakeholder engagement and project management/coordination. Experience working to relevant NSW State and Commonwealth Government, World Bank and/ or Asian Development Bank frameworks is highly desirable.The OpportunityPreparing social impact (SIAs) and socio-economic impact assessments (SEIAs) to support environmental and development approvals for a wide range of infrastructure and property projects in the water, transport, maritime, energy, science industry and technology sectors;Undertaking social and strategic planning policy reviews, social research, local site/context analysis and baseline socio-economic data analysis;Input into and preparation of stakeholder engagement plans and engagement outcomes reports;Preparation of proposals that respond to client needs and contextual drivers; andDevelopment of project management skills.At Arup, you belong to an extraordinary collective – in which we encourage individuality to thrive.
