As Social Media Producer at Uniting, you'll be part of a fast-paced Media & Public Affairs team, telling powerful stories across key issues like drug reform, climate action, disability support, aged care, mental health, and more. Your work will help raise awareness, drive advocacy, and give voice to those working to disrupt entrenched disadvantage.
What You'll Do Manage Uniting's social media platforms – Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok – ensuring consistency in tone, frequency, and engagement. Create engaging, shareable content – including graphics, photos, and videos – that's on-trend and gets noticed. Collaborate with teams across Uniting to produce content that highlights our services and advocacy work. Track performance, analyse metrics, and use insights to optimise future posts and campaigns. Help manage community engagement and moderation, ensuring we stay connected with our audience. Keep up with the latest social media trends, making sure we stay ahead of the curve. Assist with paid social media placements across Meta and LinkedIn to maximise reach. What You'll Bring Proven experience managing social media platforms for a business or brand. Strong writing and visual content creation skills – Canva and basic video editing experience a plus. Solid understanding of audience engagement and social media analytics. Ability to manage multiple projects, work to deadlines, and bring energy and ideas to the table. Passion for social justice and creating meaningful change through digital platforms. Bonus Points Experience with paid social campaigns. Familiarity with vertical video and emerging trends in social media. A background in community services, media, or journalism.
