The role of Social Media Manager is a pivotal role within the BOOIE Beauty Team.
This person reports into our Chief Operating Officer and will work alongside them, and the wider team to plan and execute our organic social media activity.
The role requires someone who is passionate about all things social and digital – and who is most at home scrolling through Instagram and TikTok on a daily basis!
Having experience in the beauty industry will be beneficial.
As for skills, we are looking for someone who has experience managing organic social media channels, with a particular focus on Instagram and TikTok, and who is interested in growing and developing that skillset with a brand that is growing every day.
Knowledge of tools such as Google Analytics and Facebook business platform are a bonus.
The candidate will also have good design skills to be able to design templates and designs for posting purposes.
The ideal candidate will have a hands-on, get it done attitude and be solutions-focused, not afraid to go above and beyond!

IN THIS ROLE, THE KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:SOCIAL MEDIA: Daily organic community and content management across social channels which represent BOOIE Beauty globally, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Pinterest (with a focus on Instagram and TikTok).Maintenance of daily organic social media schedule for all BOOIE Beauty social media platforms including planning and scheduling.Management of briefs for Creative team for content creation.Partner with our PR Team on our global Influencer strategy in how it relates to content required for social.Collaborate with our eCommerce/digital performance marketing resources on calendars and content as it relates to paid social channels.Help drive and build engaging video content primarily through YouTube and TikTok.Explore and test new and emerging social channels.Stay on top of industry trends and innovations, reporting back to the business on areas we should be going after.Reporting – provide weekly actionable insights as well as more in-depth campaign reporting to the wider team.TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL HAVE:Experience in organic social media (2+ years) community management and posting, preferably in the beauty industry.Experience in social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, and Pinterest.Understanding and experience representing a brand when responding to DMs and/or broader community replies.Experience with social community management platforms such as Hootsuite, Sprout, or Loomly is a bonus.A strong understanding of the consumer marketing funnel and where social media fits into this.An ability to balance data and information with brand and creative in decision making.Understanding of Photoshop, Illustrator, and/or InDesign is ideal.Passionate about and strong experience in social media trends and delivery.Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate with other team members and functions to achieve desired outcomes.Strong collaborative and communication skills.Work effectively under pressure, with exceptional time management skills.Excellent attention to detail.A passion for social, digital, and beauty.High level of resilience, energy, and enthusiasm. #J-18808-Ljbffr
