Social Content Coordinator

About the role. The Social Content Coordinator is responsible for the ongoing implementation of the Bunnings social strategy that powers organic social channels for Bunnings in Australia & New Zealand. This role is designed to implement ongoing social content that brings to life the Bunnings brand and product range, with DIY and home improvement trends creating compelling, engaging and agile social content.
Reporting to the Social Content Manager, forming part of the Content & Social team, this role will coordinate and implement social content on owned social media channels for both Australia and New Zealand markets, ensuring best-in-class content that aligns with the campaign or customer brief is met, as well as managing reporting and content analysis, assisting with queries from the team of moderators and staying on top of industry and social trends.
Our ideal candidate will have experience with social media channel management, in particular Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest & TikTok, and the ability to build, nurture and evolve strong relationships with all stakeholders, representing the Bunnings brand in each engagement with integrity.
What's involved: Develop clear plans and briefs for the content production team, to produce engaging and innovative social content to drive audience engagement, helping grow our community through compelling social content, copy, edits, omni-channel promotion and customer engagement.Provide clear objectives, storyboards and information to the production team to shape the social content outputs.Collaborate with brand, content, social and other internal stakeholders to produce, shoot, edit and deliver high-quality social content.Create and track social content performance, reporting as needed, continually optimizing approach for growth.Present a keen awareness of what's trending in search, social and competitor websites to generate new and timely content.Represent social content in required meetings, discussions and presentations, delivering plans and strategies to stakeholders for approval as needed.Establish and nurture a reputation for being adaptive, professional, open, collaborative, and hard-working as an individual and as a dynamic social content team.You'll need: Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Media or related field.Minimum 2 plus years of proven experience in social media working across social platforms.Experience using Hootsuite beneficial.Experience leading social strategy via creating social-first content on social media channels.Exceptional time management skills and the ability to deliver to strict deadlines, under pressure.Ability to manage multiple projects and/or briefs at any one time.Customer first mindset and ability to understand their motivations and behavior on social platforms.We're here to support you.
