The OpportunityThe Social Community Specialist is responsible for managing and responding to public posts, private messages, and comments across social media platforms to maintain a positive and engaging brand presence. This role plays a vital part in shaping the overall perception of the brand within the social community, ensuring that all interactions reflect our brand values and adhere to tone-of-voice guidelines. In addition to reputation management, the Social Community Specialist focuses on improving customer engagement by providing accurate, timely responses and fostering a community built on trust and loyalty.
This position is ideal for someone who wants to take ownership of the role, is passionate about social media, customer interaction, and building meaningful connections that enhance brand advocacy. This is a 3-month contract with potential for permanent.
The RoleRespond to public posts, comments, and private messages across social platforms. Provide product information, delivery updates, warranty details, and service-related resolutions.Ensure all interactions reflect the company's tone of voice, brand identity, and customer-centric approach.Actively engage with customers to improve brand visibility and enhance their experience, fostering positive sentiment.Utilise tools such as Emplifi, Zendesk, or Salesforce (or equivalent systems) to manage and track social interactions.Analyse and report on the performance of engagement efforts, identifying trends and recommending improvements.Work closely with the Marketing team to align on messaging, campaigns, and brand initiatives.About YouExceptional written communication skills with the ability to adapt tone and language for diverse audiences.Strong understanding of social media platforms and community management best practices.Experience in managing customer queries and complaints with empathy and professionalism.Analytical mindset with the ability to generate and interpret engagement reports.Collaborative team player with the ability to work cross-functionally.Previous experience in social media community management or similar roles within Customer Service or Marketing.Proficiency in using tools like Emplifi, Zendesk, Salesforce, or similar platforms.Demonstrated ability to manage high volumes of interactions while maintaining quality responses.Familiarity with brand tone guidelines and experience applying them in customer communications.Our ValuesPassion, Integrity, Collaboration, Innovation – these are the values that unite us, inspire us and set us apart.
