With a strong pipeline of works, our client actively seeks a Snr. Site Manager to join the team, to set up and deliver the next stage of projects.
The ClientOur client is a highly esteemed builder known for quality and leadership in Design-Build projects. They have been successfully delivering innovative construction solutions across various market sectors, including mixed-use, hotels, aged care, commercial, and high-rise residential.
The company has experienced steady growth in both size and reputation, often promoting internal staff rather than hiring externally. Their commitment to high-quality projects and exceptional service has solidified their strong standing in their markets.
With a robust portfolio of secured projects and a significant pipeline of upcoming work, they are now seeking an experienced Site Manager to join their team and oversee the delivery of the next phase of projects.
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will:Oversee site safety and ensure all procedures are implemented and monitored.Oversee trade works and ensure the works are being carried out as per the drawings and specifications.Set the quality standard from the beginning of the trade works and ensure that the trade contractors understand what is required.Be aware of the preliminary budget and schedule materials/supplies and site labour accordingly.Liaise with the relevant authorities regarding industrial relations matters as required.Establish and maintain a cohesive site team with defined responsibilities for assigned projects.Mentor staff as required to effectively carry out their assigned tasks.Effectively liaise with the client, consultants and trade contractors as required.The successful candidate will possess:Minimum of 5 years' experience delivering end-to-end projects in a similar role, managing projects over 200+ units or $80M+.A tertiary qualification in either construction or engineering.High-level ability to read and interpret plans and drawings.Well-developed time management and planning skills including industry knowledge regarding lead times for delivery and trade works.Strong communication skills including the ability to develop and maintain positive relationships.Well-developed leadership and management skills, including the ability to motivate and develop team members.To apply, please click on the 'Apply Now' button below.
