Snr People & Capability Business PartnerAbout Us: Confluence Water, the Ventia, Downer and Jacobs joint venture, is one of three consortia delivering services under Sydney Water's Partnering for Success program. We deliver design, construction, maintenance and facilities management services in Sydney Water's North region, which stretches from Sydney Harbour to the Hawkesbury River and includes the Hills Shire.

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dedicated Senior People & Capability Business Partner to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on our organisation's culture, talent strategy, and employee experience.
Role Overview: As a Senior People & Capability Business Partner at Confluence Water, you will play a critical role in shaping our company's culture and driving employee engagement, development, and retention. You will work closely with business leaders and teams to align people strategies with our organisational goals, ensuring we attract, retain, and develop top talent while fostering an inclusive and supportive environment.
Location: Based at Chatswood, with site presence across our footprint 1-2 days per week (driver's licence essential).
Key Responsibilities: Partner with leadership teams to design and execute people strategies that drive organizational performance and align with Confluence Water's values.Lead and support talent acquisition initiatives to attract top talent for diverse roles across the organisation.Provide guidance and support to managers on employee relations, performance management, and employee engagement.Develop and implement programs focused on leadership development, career progression, and employee retention.Support change management initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and fostering a positive employee experience during organisational shifts.Analyze people data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and areas to drive organisational growth and/or improvement.Act as a trusted advisor to employees, providing coaching, conflict resolution, and support as needed.As an employer who acknowledges and embraces the importance of our people's diverse experiences, talents and cultures, we encourage applications from people of all ages and backgrounds.
