Job Description - SMP Project Coordinator (257739)
UGL has an opportunity for an experienced Boilermaker trade qualified professional with extensive exposure to SAP and stakeholder management to join our Perth based team as a SMP Project Coordinator. This is a niche role where you will be working closely with our client and Project Management Team to prepare comprehensive action plans, including resources, risk management, timeframes and estimates for projects.
About the role Coordinate SMP Engineering Deliverables: Oversee and source fabrication, request quotations from service providers, and organise surveys.Review and Implement Design Plans - ensure accurate interpretation and application of engineering drawings and blueprints.Generate concise reports on project progress, challenges, and solutions for stakeholders.Implement quality control measures to uphold the standards required per Lloyd's Register (LR)/Class client requirements.Work closely with project managers, engineers, and procurement for seamless project execution.Provide insights on SMP implementation, equipment, and materials to ensure optimal quality and integrity.Apply experience in welding, fabrication, and boilermaking processes to ensure high-quality outcomes.Utilize SAP for project management, ensuring efficient tracking and resource allocation.Qualifications & Experience Formal education or training in relevant fields - Trade Certfied (Boilermaker/Mechanical)Knowledge in surface preparation and painting as well as welding and fabrication.Highly developed skills in both written and verbal communication.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, SAP, Navisworks2-5 years Experience in LNG facilities (Onshore & Offshore).What we offer The chance to join a 6,000+ strong organisation owned by the CIMIC Group, one of the world's largest leading international contractorsAn excellent opportunity for career growth and development in a high-performance environmentCompetitive group remuneration and benefits packages including a health and wellbeing program with company-funded salary continuance insuranceA culture that values diversity and innovation, evolving with market changes and new technologiesAbout us UGL Pty Limited is a leading provider of end-to-end engineering, construction and maintenance services.
