About the role
A&K Drott Hire Pty Ltd is seeking a full-time Skid Steer Operator to join our team working all over South East Queensland. As a Skid Steer Operator, you will operate specialised machinery to assist with predominantly House Pad Preparation, Civil Works and other general hire.
What you'll be doing Safely and efficiently operate a skid steer Posi Trac to perform a range of construction tasks, such as working with House Plans to cut, fill and final trim House Pads, Shed Pads, Horse Arenas and the like.Transporting the machine, on a company owned truck to job sites all over South East Queensland from our yard in Advancetown.Carry out pre-start checks and routine maintenance on the skid steer and truck to ensure optimal performance and safetyWork collaboratively with the wider construction team to complete projects on time and to a high standardAdhere to all relevant health and safety procedures and regulationsProvide feedback and suggestions to continuously improve our operationsWhat we're looking for Proven experience as a Skid Steer Operator in the construction industry, with a minimum of 2 years' experienceStrong understanding of the operation and maintenance of skid steer posi tracs and related construction equipmentExcellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness to manoeuvre machinery safely and preciselyAbility to work effectively as part of a team, as well as mostly independent on job sites.Commitment to safety and attention to detailCurrent and valid minimum MR driver's licence,
(HC and/or Excavator tickets will be hugely beneficial)What we offer
