Reputable boutique builder has won a 3 million dollar contract on an education upgrade and is now looking for a site supervisor to start January 2025.
Essential criteria: Proven experience previously working on education construction projects up to or over $5M.5+ years experience in the construction industry delivering commercial projects.Trade or tertiary qualifications in construction, management, or a relevant field.Hold a valid White Card (construction induction).Compliant with all established workplace rules and Health & Safety requirements.Tilt up construction ticket (ideally).Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communications.Strong environmental awareness.Sound dispute management and conflict resolution skills.Strong knowledge of industry standards. Your responsibilities may include: Reporting to the Director on a regular basis, advising them of any current or potential issues.Managing dispute resolution between clients and subcontractors as required.Overseeing the quality of trade works to ensure the required standard is achieved in all aspects.Coordinating variation works between clients and subcontractors.Implementing and maintaining OH&S standards onsite.Compiling Site Safety Plans and developing Risk Registers for high-risk works.Monitoring progress of works against the construction schedule.Managing and coordinating project site team whilst maintaining associated paperwork control.Coordinating procurement/delivery of materials, trades, and contract letting.Engaging and liaising with key project stakeholders including clients, designers, facility managers, consultants, and tenants.
