Due to our ongoing growth, we are seeking another experienced Site Supervisor to join the Saunders International team based on site at Kwinana, WA.
THE ROLE
The responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
Supervise construction activity and team members including direct Leading Hands, Tradespeople and Apprentices
Complete labour task activity time keeping, for all work fronts assigned daily.
Plan the work and ensure that deadlines are met.
Minor computer based work for timesheet reporting and personnel reviews.
Report potential industrial relation problems.
Plan and forecast of manning levels in co-operation with the PM.
Ensure correct materials ordering procedures are adhered to by checking received materials against packing list and notifying project management team if there are any discrepancies.
Strict compliance with all policies and procedures such as engineering method statements or company OH&S requirements.
Ensure all plant and equipment onsite is maintained in a serviceable condition and reports any damage to equipment immediately to the Equipment and Stores Lead.
Completion of Workplace Inspection Checklists and provide to Administrator for upload to MYOSH.
Assist in job planning of labour and materials to complete the quoted works as set out by the estimate or better.
Provide input to project schedule updates.
Prepare and run toolbox meetings and pre-start meetings with the team.
Review of existing JSA for further enhancement and present content of JSA to the team
Review application of procedures against activities in the field to confirm that they are appropriate for the task and that personnel comply.
If appropriate, make recommendations to update procedures if they are not practical for implementation.
Submit timesheets daily to PM or Site Manager for review.
Perform additional duties within scope and experience as and when required.
