Position Objectives: We are currently seeking to employ a Site Supervisor to deliver civil construction projects within the Launceston area. This role will ensure effective quality supervision of onsite construction workers, sourcing quotes and ordering materials. You will work closely with project managers to ensure quality standards meet client expectations. The ideal applicant will have strong industry knowledge and management skills.
Key Responsibilities include: Lead and oversee construction activities, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with project specifications.Supervise and manage a team of construction workers, ensuring they work efficiently and safely to achieve project objectives.Coordinate and schedule resources, equipment, subcontractors, and materials required for project execution and success.Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, clients, and other external stakeholders to ensure seamless project coordination.Lead Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards.Position Specific Requirements: Proven experience with a minimum of 5 years as a Civil Construction Supervisor or equivalent.Experience in Road Construction, Sewer Reticulation, Earthworks, Stormwater Drainage, and Water Reticulation.Strong knowledge of civil construction processes, techniques, and best practices.Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings, plans, and specifications.The ability to think independently and develop safe methods to achieve goals.Monitor daily work activities to maximize the utilization of plant, equipment, subcontractors, and resources including employees.V-Chrom Civil offers excellent working conditions, including a competitive salary package with a company vehicle.
