Site Supervisor

Role Hutchies is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to join our Hobart team.
This fulltime, permanent role is your chance to contribute to our prestigious commercial construction projects.

You will play a pivotal role in supervising Hutchies' employees and subcontractors, ensuring the project is delivered in line with our safety, quality, program and budget objectives.

Responsibilities Reporting to the Site Manager or Managers, you will:
Assist in coordinating, managing and supervising works on Site Undertake considered planning of the works to ensure Safety, Quality, Program and Budget objectives are met Work as part of the Site supervision team and take responsibility for areas of work allocated to you Review and improve Work Method Statements and Methods of Work before the relevant work is carried out Complete any permits to work which may be required by our Clients Communicate and Consult with the workforce on all matters related to the project Provide leadership, guidance and management to any Tradespersons or Leading Hands allocated to the project Oversee the delivery of the project to ensure it meets the requirements of the drawings and specifications Keep accurate records of works carried out on site Manage the rectification of any defects identified in construction Note the role will require weekend and after hours works, including night works.

Requirements To be successful in this role, you should demonstrate:
Relevant trade qualification and proven commercial construction experience in a site leadership role An ability to work in a team environment and have initiative when working independently Excellent written and spoken communication skills An exemplary approach to problem solving including flexibility, adaptability and general foresight Agency submissions won't be considered for this position.
