Site Supervisor

Join a highly regarded Tier 2 builder on what is a minimum 4-month contract role. Help drive and deliver a challenging refurb, fit out and amenities upgrade project in Canberra, ACT.Working in a live environment, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of a significant government defence project. This role is critical in ensuring that the project meets its objectives within budget, on schedule, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.Requirements:Minimum 3 years' experience as a Site Supervisor/Site Manager with a head contractorRelevant qualifications in Construction Management or related fieldStrong knowledge of construction safety standards and regulationsExcellent organizational and leadership skillsEffective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with both the client and sub-contractorsExperience working in secure environments or projects with defence-related sensitivity is a plusResponsibilities:Lead and manage the site team, including subcontractors and tradespeople, to ensure efficient project executionDevelop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets, monitoring progress and performance regularlyEnsure compliance with all safety regulations, quality standards, and government policiesLiaise with client to coordinate project activities and resolve any issues that ariseConduct regular site inspections to monitor work quality and adherence to design specificationsManage procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectivenessAdditional Information:Competitive Hourly Pay Rate (ABN Pty Ltd or PAYG)Run project start to finishTier 2 Builder#J-18808-Ljbffr
