The Opportunity We are looking for an experienced Site Supervisor to join an exciting renewables project in the South West of WA (predominantly Esperance) on a 2:1 roster out of Perth.
Reporting into the Delivery Manager, this Site Supervisor is responsible for ensuring successful implementation of construction / site activities associated with Standalone Power Systems in the WA region
Key responsibilities include. Ensuring that construction runs in accordance with approved designs, specifications, and standards. Planning and execution of works in accordance with the Schedule. Plan and stage construction/ site work. Plan, coordinate, and perform any logistics activities required to support construction/ site activities. Manage site security, site services, site facilities, materials inventory and the avoidance of loss, damage, and theft of property. Forecast the resources (personnel, plant, and equipment) required to deliver construction/ site activities. Liaise directly with contractor/ suppliers to maintain high quality, collaborative and productive relationships. Investigation activities as required in response to safety, environmental and quality issues including the collection of investigation information and distribution to relevant parties as directed. Maintain a safe and healthy workplace and adhere to company policies, applicable laws, regulations, and standards for the workplace. Requirements to be successful. Minimum 2 years experience supervising electrical &/or civil construction activities on project sites within the renewable energy sector. Trade qualification, preferably Electrical, (or alternatively significant technical experience). Able to act as a Company Representative with the Electrical Licensing Board (desirable) SAA Accreditation for Installation of Stand Alone Power Systems (desirable) Vehicle Loading Crane Ticket - Desirable Proficient skills in computers: MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS SharePoint and Adobe PDF – Mandatory Understanding of civil and structural concepts as they apply to ground mounted PV electrical construction activities.
