The Role Reporting to the Construction Manager, the Site Supervisor will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the construction of our commercial projects and ensuring our projects meet quality, timeframe, and OH&S objectives.
The key responsibilities of the role will include:
Site supervision and management of the day-to-day activities across multiple commercial projects. Ensure projects are built accurately per all plans, specifications and to a high level of quality standards. Managing onsite safety as per building and safety regulations. Scheduling and coordinating employees, trades, subcontractors, suppliers, deliveries, and equipment to successfully meet stage deadlines and budgets. Developing and maintaining strong trade and supplier relationships. Work closely with the Construction Manager, Estimator, Design team to ensure successful delivery of all commercial projects. Skills and Experience Minimum 10 years proven commercial construction site supervision experience. Trade background preferred. Strong ability to interpret building plans, engineering documentation, surveys, civil plans, timber framing layouts, specifications, and other technical documentation. Sound knowledge of the National Construction Code/ BCA, Australian Standards and other relevant codes. Strong experience in maintaining and promoting workplace health and safety. Exceptional communicator with the ability to effectively liaise with employees, clients, suppliers, and contractors, both written and verbally. Proven skills in managing trades, suppliers, and project budgets. Proven experience in planning, programming, and scheduling of site work. Exceptional time management skills. Experience using MS Project, Procore and Microsoft Suite desirable. Current Australian Driver's License. Valid White Card. Current First Aid certificate.
