Join a Perth commercial builder to deliver multi-residential projects up to $20m
TEN Recruitment are working closely with a Perth owned and operated commercial construction company who deliver commercial construction projects between $7m and $20m value. These are mostly apartments, mixed-use and multi residential projects.
They are on the lookout for an experienced Site Manager to join the team and deliver their upcoming projects. The successful applicant will be reporting directly to the Project Manager and is supported by a Contract Administrator to work on a range of projects across the Perth Metro Area.
Your Responsibilities May Include
Work with the Project Manager to deliver projects, keeping up to date with project progress and programme reports.
Day-to-day management of site employees, trades and subcontractors including inductions
Ensure site runs in adherence with all relevant health and safety legislation and industry requirements
Liaise with project manager, and contract administrator to ensure project is progressing in accordance with programme and meeting deadlines
Liaise with office team, management, relevant authorities and the clients to resolve any potential construction related issues.
Maintenance of relevant site documentation.
Essential criteria:
5+ years' experience as a site manager delivering commercial construction projects, ideally apartments/ multi residential
Proven ability to manage time well, and deliver quality projects on time
Excellent communication skills able to liaise well with trades as well as the site and office teams
Strong people management and negotiation skills
Excellent working knowledge and appreciation of the importance of OHS on site
A team player able to get on well with people to foster a positive work environment and deliver great projects
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in MS Projects, Excel, Outlook and Word.
Outstanding organisation skills and high attention to detail.
