Your future role: Take on a new challenge and apply your Quality expertise in a new cutting-edge field as the Site Quality Manager based at Ballarat. You'll report to Quality Manager – Rolling Stock, and work alongside a close-knit team. You'll play a critical role in supporting the Ballarat manufacturing site with Quality process and compliance.
We'll look to you for: Developing Quality Culture & Right First Time Approach. Ensuring consistency of QCD objectives and the contractual/regulatory obligations applicable to the projects. Driving continuous improvement plans to analyze and reduce the CONQ, NCR, Safety issues and Demerit. Deploying Quality Policy within the management committee of the Site. Undertaking Quality and Safety assessment of the products & services delivered, according to the contractual quality requirements. Increasing Customer satisfaction through periodic meetings, Customers Surveys, product delivery controls. Managing and escalate Top issues impacting safety and customer. Ensuring that DFQ Gate Reviews and Suppliers FAI are done in time, including waiver when required. Leading, Managing and developing Quality teams, using quality school, expertise, and APSYS. Deploying standard tools and indicators, and contribute to their improvement. Ensuring Process governance, Risk and Opportunity management with site interested parties. Evaluating by Internal Audits the quality performance in each process. Ensuring the right update about the Quality (QMS) Reference documents, using REX process. Ensuring site QMS conformance against Alstom standards, Customer standards and ISO9001/IRIS requirements. All about you: We value passion and attitude over experience. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement/management skills. The ability to be resilient, flexible and adaptable in a fast paced, high-pressure environment. Significant experience in Quality management, projects and operations. Experience in managing Quality tools and problem-solving tools. Experience in manage quality management system and ISO 9001:2015. Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline.
