We are looking for a dedicated Site Manager to lead and manage the Aldoga PV project, a flagship renewable energy initiative in Queensland. In this role, you will oversee the project's staff and contractors, ensuring the successful operation of our 380MW solar facility.
Located near Gladstone, this project is part of the Queensland Government's strategy to revitalize underutilized land while driving economic growth and contributing to the state's renewable energy targets.

Key responsibilities: Safety and Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory obligations, fostering a strong HSE culture on site. Team Leadership: Lead and support the site team, promoting collaboration and effective communication. Handover and Operations: Oversee the transition from construction to operations and manage all operational aspects of the facility. Contractor Management: Supervise contractors to ensure quality services meet HSE standards. Maintenance Oversight: Plan and execute timely maintenance activities within budget and compliance standards. Performance Monitoring: Track solar farm performance against KPIs, identify improvement initiatives, and report on results. Community Engagement: Maintain positive relationships with community members and landowners. Documentation Management: Draft and approve all necessary procedures and policies for safe site operations.
This position operates on a 5/2 roster, providing a balanced work schedule.

About you Degree in engineering or business discipline Over 5 years in asset management, ideally with generation asset experience Proven ability to lead and motivate a team Understanding of Australian compliance and reporting requirements for generators Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems related to energy generation In compliance with Security of Critical Infrastructure (SOCI) Act 2018, this role is defined as critical worker and labelled at ACCIONA Energia as a Privileged Access Worker (PAW). Privileged Access Workers (PAW's) are required to obtain satisfactory results from Acciona's Suitability Assessment prior to commencement, this forms part of our standard pre-employment checks.
