at our Flag Ship Gold Coast Resort. The
Residential
role would suit someone who has worked on
high yield town houses or similar . A huge site that has 2 residential teams working on different stages of the site, at least 3 years' work at this site. This is one of many resorts that we are currently in construction for with many more in the pipeline that we will be starting in the future.We have a great culture; we believe in recognition plus we offer a great salary and bonuses for hitting your KPI's.In this hands-on leadership role, you will be responsible for:Managing all aspects of construction on site ensuring compliances & quality are maintained.Scheduling and supervising contractors, subcontractors, labour and equipment resources.Managing and coordinating the site Labourers and Operators daily duties.Liaising with local authorities, utility providers and design consultants.Sourcing local trade contractors.Attending to project and contract administration duties.Advising on construction efficiencies and troubleshoot where necessary.Ensuring compliance with Workplace Health & Safety standards.Working within established project budgets and agreed timelines.About You!To be successful in this role you will have:5+ years' experience in a similar roleSupervisor Licence essential and relevant qualification in Building & ConstructionA trade background and experience in
high volume
residential
construction.OH&S detailed understanding, qualifications even better!A detailed understanding of the development process from design, approval and construction deliveryLocal industry knowledge and established networksDrivers LicenceExcellent management and communication skillsProactive and action oriented, someone who takes responsibility and delivers the agreed outcomes.Calm and confident under pressure and able to adapt to challenging situations and embrace change.Comfortable with problem solving and the ability to share a vision and take others' ideas on board.Previous experience with building software preferably Onsite Companion but not essential.About UsGemLife, is one of Australia's fastest growing developers of luxury, over 50s residential resorts.
