A leading fit-out firm is looking for a Contract Site Manager to assist in the smooth running of a full office and retail fit-out in Sydney CBD for approximately 5 months, 6 days per week.
Ideally, we are looking for someone local.
The successful candidate will have a strong fit-out background and be confident in their ability to liaise with all stakeholders, subcontractors, and the site team.
You will manage and coordinate the finishing trades on site, ensuring works are completed to spec, on schedule, and within budget.
You'll work closely with the project management team and attend meetings to report on updates for your area.
Having secured multiple 2+ year contracts, ongoing work in CBD is a definite option if you are looking for long-term contract work.
Duties: Supervise and coordinate subcontractors and finishing trades on site.Monitor work progress in line with schedules and deadlines.Conduct quality inspections to ensure work meets project standards and regulatory requirements.Ensure site meets HS&E requirements.Collaborate closely with project management to report progress and address any issues promptly. Requirements: Proven experience as a Site Manager on a commercial fit-out space.Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction methodologies related to finishing works.Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.Ability to problem-solve and make decisions under pressure.
