Site Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for a Site Manager to join the Perth team. This role coordinates site activities in accordance with the construction program to ensure the project is delivered safely, on time, within budget and to expectations.Your Duties and Responsibilities:Operate sites with a best practice approach to health and safety by observing and demonstrating safe work practices and ensuring others do the same.Manage and coach staff to ensure they are meeting their key deliverables and proactively address performance issues.Develop and expand the knowledge of the team, including taking a lead mentoring role for Cadets.Manage the site construction activities to ensure the most productive use of available materials and construction resources (internal and external).Thoroughly understand the relevant components within the tender process.Maintain overall quality assurance whilst ensuring building compliance.Maintain and monitor all environmental site-specific issues.Inform the Project Manager of issues likely to have a substantial impact on operations.Maintain professional relationships with clients and their representatives, sub-contractors, relevant authorities, delegates, and consultants.Monitor and mark up all programmes on a weekly basis.Manage day-to-day site control of the project.Ensure that site setup is maintained in accordance with the code of practice.Ensure all standards of construction are monitored and maintained.To be successful, you will need:3-5 years experience as a site manager.Experience in detail-orientated bespoke projects.Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills - ability to build relationships with internal & external stakeholders.Comprehensive understanding of the building codes and guidelines.Ability to drive projects to meet deadlines on time and on budget.Proven experience effectively managing a team including sub-contractors.Good understanding of health and safety requirements and their application.Previous exposure to Procore is an advantage.We offer:Friendly, collaborative teamExciting landmark projectsCareer growth and development opportunitiesOptional 5 weeks paid Annual LeavePaid Parental Leave for all employeesAccess to our employee assistance program for you and your familyRecruitment Referral ProgramCompetitive salaries and benefitsHow to apply:Please submit your resume and cover letter to ******.
