Job DescriptionOpportunityNationally recognised mid-tier builder looking for an immediate contract site manager for a prestigious high-end commercial fit out project in Melbourne's CBD.Deliver a $6M project start to finish as the No.1. With a strong pipeline of works in place, this 16-week guaranteed contract role will very likely be a long-term opportunity across several challenging sites with the city and surrounds.RequirementsMinimum 3 years' experience as a Site Manager with a head contractorRelevant qualifications in Construction Management or related fieldStrong understanding of construction processes, materials, and regulationsExcellent leadership and organizational skillsAbility to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawingsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsTrade background (e.g., carpentry, electrical, plumbing) highly desirableResponsibilitiesOversee and manage all aspects of the fit out project, ensuring it is executed within budget, timeline, and to the client's specificationsCoordinate with various stakeholders including architects, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.Monitor progress and quality of work on-site, conducting regular inspections and addressing any issues or delays promptly.Manage and motivate a team of workers, providing guidance, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols and industry standards Strong hourly pay rates (ABN Pty Ltd or PAYG Option).
