Due to continued company growth and a strong pipeline of future projects, Fairbrother is looking for an experienced Site Manager to join our Launceston team in a full-time permanent role.Operating throughout Tasmania and Victoria, Fairbrother is a nationally award-winning company specialising in commercial and industrial construction, joinery, and facilities management.As a Site Manager, you will be the person on the ground responsible for the project's overall performance. We are looking for people who believe in our purpose, vision, and guiding principles, and can demonstrate the ability to:Ensure high standards of WHS compliance on site.Oversee operations on site in accordance with project programs and budgets.Effectively manage workforce resourcing and productivity, including management and communication of labour schedules.Procure equipment and materials, focusing on accurate cost and quantity control within budget.Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external.Liaise closely with the client, ensuring the project runs to program.Selection CriteriaCommercial construction management experience, typically 10+ years.An understanding of best practice construction and safety methodologies.Experience across a range of project types and industries.Demonstrated skills in leading by example.The ability to communicate professionally and effectively.Well-developed planning, organisation, and time management skills.Clear understanding of WHS requirements and conflict resolution skills.On offer is a generous remuneration package that will reflect your skills and experience as well as the level of responsibilities and duties upon successfully being appointed to the role of Site Manager.
